An 18k gold ruby and diamond brooch conversion necklace set with a central pearl which is untested but most probably natural. The necklace is new but was converted from an antique Edwardian brooch using a new chain which is 18k gold as is the clasp. I hope that the new pairing will give the piece a lease of life as it looks great as an everyday diamond bar necklace. Beautifully made in my skilled jewellery workshop. The antique brooch section is set with 16 hand cut natural rubies and 22 rose cut diamonds in 18k gold. Laid flat it measures 18” inches long in total. The central brooch measures 1 3/4” inches.
